New York Observer article about Croman's mansion on East 72nd St.
It should be noted the the Observer is owned by Jared Kushner (married to Ivanka Trump), who is reportedly acquiring many tenement buildings in the East Village,
that tend to have rent stabilized tenants. Time will tell what sort of landlord he is.

Chicago Tribune Article RE: 12 East 72nd St. (AKA Croman's Mansion)
Downtown Express Story

Do you see transient Europeans in your building, with suitcases, coming and going? Your landlord may be running an illegal hotel, depriving New York City and its residents of tax dollars, disrupting building culture, exposing you and your neighbors to potential dangers including, bed bugs, insurance liabilities, fire, vomit in common areas, excessive noise, drunkenness, etc.

From the Brian Lehrer Show on WNYC, one of the comments mentions a 9300 Realty property.

Though your building is owned by Croman / 9300 Realty, it is likely called something like - 319 Bowery NY, LLC (substitute your address). There are legal reasons, e.g. secrecy, limited liability (to tenants and banks), behind setting up an LLC for each property.
